Ah right. It departed LHR yesterday morning, after a 9 day stopover - but only for a quick trip to the cash machine in Luxembourg before returning mid-afternoon for another stint at Harrods.

Perhaps it was carrying hazardous cargo ? The routing is a bit strange!

Bloody hell! Must have picked a heck of a lot of lower denomination shrappers then!

Looks like it was back on the ground at Lasham again a couple of hours later.

Notwithstanding what FR24 and FlightAware show, it's not a B722 but an R722 (Super 27). Wears a very nice blue/white scheme.

This was some time ago, but one of the coolest sightings I've had. Back in Las Vegas (which is fairly close to Nellis) I was able to spot what I thought was a B-2 flying relatively close to the ground. Was a little unnerved by it honestly, but looking back it's one of the coolest planes I've seen.

Nice to see M-STAR still going, it spent a lot of time in the middle east whilst I there and it certainly is a R722 great performance compared to the other 72's that still knock around! Iranair still had a B721 that used to get into DXB around 10 years ago!

I ttook a tour of Alaska a few years ago. As the bus approached Fairbanks we passed Eilson AFB and I spotted a B-2 in the air. Lot's of signs saying no stopping or photographs so the driver slowed to a crawl as the aircraft landed. In the end two landed, a third already on the ground. The passengers were nearly all USAians and despite all the signs they were all taking phitos like mad!

As a yank myself, we kind of play by our own rules until we get caught.

Yesterday (13th) morning around 09:00 - something noisy (multi-jet) heading north and climbing over Cheltenham, probably out of Brize Norton/Fairford. It was too cloudy to see and nothing was showing on FR24, but given the prolonged volume I guessed B52(s). A local Facebook page later indicated that they were B1B Lancers, which returned later in the morning while I was elsewhere.

It sounded like they went over again this morning around 08:10, but again it was too cloudy to eyeball them.
