Apparently, 771 Squadron had them in 43-43 for use on radar calibration and target simulation for Home Fleet units preparing to deploy to the pacific. I guess it was after they'd been become obsolete...

I looked at Scone but it doesn't appear to have trees so close to the apron and from memory the ground doesn't rise away from the runway.

My guess is that it's Scottish though.
