No sock puppet interview for me!

Good to see there are some genuine checkpoints, particularly after the test section - gives me some hope I actually got through it anyway. Now I just have to make sure they don't tie John Smith's IP address to mine...
They'll invite you to the assessment day and sit you down "So, tell us a bit about yourself, John"

Were the videos competency based questions or were they more to get to know you? Hoping to get mine done tomorrow if I can escape the kids 😅

Kind of them to let us know when we'll get our rejection emails!

Especially when it had the word “successful” in the subject line!

Can anyone help me and say what the questions are in the digital interview? Are they scenario based questions or are they competency based such as 'Why do you want to be a pilot/work for tui?' and 'Give an example when you have worked under pressure'
Can you re record your answer if you mess it up or is it a live recording?
I'm 17 and this is my first time doing anything close to an interview so I would appreciate all the help

Is it unlimited re-records like on the SOVA practice interview on their website?

Yes. But no idea what data is being recorded on top of just submitting the response.

Both scenario and competency are in there. You have the ability to do re-records. That should give you a clue. Plenty of resources online including a practice test, nothing out of the ordinary is asked.

No point revealing more as I'm sure you'll understand, it's an application process for a reason and TUI will no doubt be looking at this forum and who's posting on it. Good luck to all.

The questions are pretty straightforward, doesn't seem that they are there to trick you. You also have the opportunity to re record your answer should you need to. Mainly motivational questions. I'm sure you'll be fine!

What email? Did you get feedback from the assessments or something?

Hi guys,

I’ve also completed the online tests and now the digital interview, I’ve been told to wait by the end of January if I’ve made it to the assessment day.

fingers cross x

Hi all I'm going to do the online assessments on Thursday this week, any tips or useful things to know? Specifically the logical reasoning tests as they seem quite difficult

Only just managed to get round to completing the digital interview stage today as I was away over the Christmas period. It has been 7 calendar days. A previous email from TUI states you have 5 calendar days to complete but all seemed to go through okay... Fingers crossed that won't be a reason to cut ties haha

A few little foibles like that in the system. When you start the digital interview it states several times that you will not be able to re-record your responses - and presumably that’s why they give you two minutes to formulate your answer. However once you’re actually doing it, it seems you can re-record and review as many times as you like… not entirely fair on people who read instructions and try to play by true rules.

It looks like some of us have had different email responses? I’ve just completed the digital interview and received an email saying they’ll be in touch about the assessment day if successful. No mention of when they’ll be in touch if not successful? 🤯
