I took your reports to those further up the totem pole. It appears that strange things may have happened in the dark ages to you.

Let me know, please, if the problems have not been fixed to your satisfaction, good folk.

A while back there seemed to be a moderator with a strange sense of right and wrong. I was never actually banned from one particular part of the forum, but every post I made there was removed. Hopefully said person has now grown up, or moved on.

Possibly five years ago. I no longer attempt to post in that part of the forum.

Btw, I have greatly appreciated the PM you’ve sent on the rare occasion that something I’ve posted more recently does need to be moved.

Please keep in mind, good folks, that we are human and humans don't always get it right. We try our best and hope for a good score, overall.

That’s a problem as the IB limitations only let me go back 1,000 posts and that’s only a couple of years for you! Drop me a PM and I’ll check as best I can, and sort out what happened with a view to putting things right for you 👍

Senior Pilot, Thank you for trying to sort out these problems. The work behind the scenes is not always appreciated as much as it should be, but what you are trying to do to sort out these anomalies is important.

I recall Mr. Hill.....and can understand why he got cross threaded with that certain individual who is no longer able to wreak the damage he did.

That being said.....he was not alone back in the day when that was happening.....undoing that harm is not going to be easy to accomplish.

I mod other forums and know what a selfless task it is

It was such a shame that a couple of people went off the rails

My thanks too to the Mods; moderation has certainly improved, and for example, we are allowed to use (reasonable) quotes now, which kept being removed a while back.

The "ignore" feature is very useful for those "difficult" posters........

All we need now is to vastly reduce the number of adverts. Even when I delete an annoying advert, it immediately comes back on my phone.

there does seem to be an issue with Jet Blast moderation

where those who post facts backed up by actual evidence have posts removed or are resticted , yet reactionaries posting journalism or outright lies from pressure groups that exist solely to cuase harm are waved through

I thought the whole point of Jet Blast is that it is where the excited could go and rave - reminds me of the pub at around 22:00....................

You managed to post 63 times in the past week, reported four other posts that disagreed with your views, and had two (only two!) posts deleted for breaching PPRuNe RoE.

Reasoned debate is encouraged on Jet Blast: dogmatic arguing and personal attacks will be duly Moderated under the T&Cs that you agreed to when joining us here.
